lyrics

Grey mammocks of stones,
Witnesses of the vanished days,
Eaten by the avid maw of the storm...
What hides there:
In silence, in depth, in solitude, in emptiness -
In the tomb of thickening darkness?!

The granite steps lead down,
The shadows draw into the depth of the past.
Stench and suffocation, humidity and decay - doesn't matter,
When the longing is hanging on the neck as a noose.

'The bunches of white acacia...
Do you remember, darling...
The years have gone by...'

Confusion and terror - through torture to ditches -
The remains of love in the rotten coffin!
Untouched by the decay, though the years have passed...
Listen to the pleading! Wake up! Come alive!

The flickering light of the torch,
The crypt is filled with movement -
These are the shadows dancing on the walls exulting...
But what appears there, what seems:
As if the eyelids shook on the deadman's face...

No - it cannot be,
Who is able to break the shackles of the eternal slumber?
The dark comes to life and drives the horror of madness
Away from the damned depths...
Away!
Away! To Sun! To Light! To Day!
The clock will strike midnight, and the shadows will crawl on the walls,
They carry along the sepulchral fear and cold -
The creatures from the realm of the dreams (there's no place for them under the moon).
And you'll curse the day when you've decided to play with the Darkness...
